“IDK how you feel about gay marriages but…”

Say hello to Marisa and Sue. Both very lovely and very in love. Sue was in charge of finding their wedding photographer. When she reached out she asked the general questions. Pricing and if I’m available on their date. Once I gave her the information and ironed out some questions. She then told me “idk how you feel about gay marriages. But this is for a lesbian couple”. First thing that popped in my mind was “I hope they book me cause this will look great on my portfolio” but of course I didn’t tell her that at first. All I replied was “No problems here. Love is love.” Which I truthfully believe. After we discussed more detail about the wedding. I asked myself “geez I wonder why that question was asked? Were they turned down by other photographers? I didn’t bother to ask cause my focus was 2 things. Make their process simple and effortless. Make sure they are happy with what I have to offer.

Fast forward to April 28th 2018 and Marisa and Sue’s Wedding date has arrived. Not only did they both look beautiful. The church was amazing. They had their ceremony at All Saints Church in Pasadena. With high ceilings, beautiful stained glass and great lighting, let me tell you this church was very spiritual. There was nothing but great vibes and lots of love for Marisa and Sue that day.  Please take a min and view my favorite moments of their special day. For Marisa and Sue.
