I’m not one to be boastful. But you know what… why not. Just this time. 🙂

So it all started in the winter. It was cold. It was the cold winter…(kidding)
Like all of us who has dreams and goals. We work hard for it. Every day. Some days it may seem it’s going no where. Some days seems like you got a lot done and some days you feel like quitting cause it’s going no where. I’ve felt it before and I might feel it again. But it’s part of the process. We need to fall to get back up. We need fail so we can learn. Through all those struggles. You get reminded why you’re working so hard for your goals. For me. It’s my family. My wife always telling me the truth about how good or bad I’m doing. My daughter who wakes up before I leave for work in the morning. “Papa, don’t forget your camera!” Also, fellow photographers like @rad_photographs and @mandycastillophotography who I’ve met through Instagram. Whether we’re commenting or dm’ing each other feedback, tips or locations. It’s great to get support from each other.
So through all this hard work. The smallest compliments helps. It feels good to have someone say. “Great shot!” It also feels good when you’re featured on Voyagela.com as part of their “Picture Perfect Friday’s” (SAY WHAAA?!?!) Along with other amazing photographers who are amazing at what they do.
Do I feel proud of myself? I actually do feel proud and it’s a good feeling to get noticed. What am I going to do now? Well I could say I’ve reached a goal of mine and I could retire. (Totally kidding) But this makes me want to continue to reach my dreams and goals and be the best I can be every day.
Watch me.
(Behind the scenes.)
I did write a blog post about this session I had with Daniel and Victoria. But to give you a BTS of this shot. Along with the couple. I also had my wife Angela (Who is a successful makeup and currently offering an online course to start your own makeup business. Shamelss Plug 🙂 ) and friend Jarrell who also helped get me this shot. They say the best shots comes towards the end of a session. (Do they say that?) Well I think they do. Towards the end of the session I was telling my self what other pose can I do. My wife being right next to me jumped on Pintrest (Thanks Pintrest) and found a shot that was some what similar to this. (Thanks my wife). Jarrell gifted these shoes to the lovely couple. We covered the shoe box with a blanket we had in the car and placed some leaves around it. Asked the couple to look amazing and BOOM!
This feature goes out to all the dreamers and believers. The hard workers and goal getters. It’s easier to quit and watch someone else do it. But it feels way better when it’s you getting it!
Cheers!

  1. To find fellow photogs and really encourage each other when this field is extremely competitive, is rare! Keep up the amazing work. This is just the first of many features
