Chuck+Natalie+Baby Delaney | In Home Newborn Lifestyle

To new beginnings.

“If I had to give you two some parental advice. I’d say keep doing what you’re doing. You’re doing great!”

First time parents could be a little scary. Though you can read about newborns and what to expect or prepare as long as you can. It just becomes something totally different from what people told you or what you might have read somewhere. Of course those books has a lot useful information but I believe a lot of what you should know about becoming 1st time parents. You already know. It’s all in your essence and I definitely saw that with Chuck and Natalie.

Natalie found me through Facebook. She was about due and really wanted to do a shoot within the first couple of weeks the baby was born and settled in her home. I was already excited to do the shoot and couldn’t wait. I already told myself I was going to approach this session in a way where I can show them what they do in a every day environment with their princess. I was so focused to show Chuck and Natalie that the normal things they do at  home is already a beautiful site. Soothing the baby when she’s crying. Changing her outfits. Watching her sleep as she rests on their shoulders.

So the day finally comes to meet the little princess Delaney at their home. After a quick intro we get straight to taking pictures. Chuck got the session rolling. Usually it takes a little bit of time to get use to being in front of the camera. With Chuck and Natalie; that wasn’t the case. From start to finish they seemed at peace when they would be around Delaney. Soaking up parenthood and enjoying their moment. Even when she would get hungry and cry a bit they still seemed like they’ve been knowing what to do. Man let me tell you they were like the Harlem Globetrotters of new parents. They were doing behind the back passes to each other with the baby bottle. Or if Delaney had to be changed they were doing no look diaper passes and had her changed and ready in record time. Ok Ok… I’m being a sarcastic… just a little. But what I did notice is Chuck and Natalie make a great team and knew exactly what to do.Communication is key.  Parents say they are lucky to have a beautiful baby… in this case… I think Delaney is just as lucky to have Chuck and Natalie as her parents.

Natalie and Chuck… I’ve sent you this once and I’ll send it again.
